John-Marx, The Punk Theologian

Hi! Im John-Marx, the Punk Theologian 

I am currently attending United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities where I am working towards an MDiv in Unitarian Universalist Studies as well as an MA in Theology and Religion. I am passionate about exploring ideas of spiritual resistance through the lens of a Punk  Liberation Theology, primarily through a Queercore, Riot Grrrl, and early UK movement lens.  If zines are your thing I am also a co-editor of a zine called "Altar Punk".

When I am not reading or writing for school, you can find me spending time with my partner and our children, creating crappy art with Crayolas, preaching from punk lyrics, designing games, freestyling songs about whatever is going on at the time, partaking in self-care with a Solo-Journaling RPG or two,  and reading for myself. 

I am currently thinking more and more about solo journaling RPGs as a form of social-spiritual-emotional development and will continue to explore them as a medium as both a player and a designer.
